Aerith almost stops running after Balthier tells her that it's for the best to bring about Piaget's end today. Even though the man's caused them both so much pain, what he's suggesting is not at all something she could have imagined, no matter how much grief Piaget's caused them, or how furious she is to think about Balthier being traded off.
Zeda seems to be on the verge of saying something before she turns and gets a look of the apprehension on Aerith's face.
"If we have to," she says, finally, her arm tightening around Balthier when she speaks. It's grounding to touch him, even if her guts are churning from the suggestion.
There are shouts, but they're faraway enough that Zeda doesn't butt in without clearing her throat. "I've got a couple of Hornitos should do the trick if you've got the aim."
